Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:

Are you a skilled problem-solver with experience in facility maintenance and equipment repair? Love's Travel Stops is looking for Maintenance Technicians to ensure our stores, restaurants, and truck care centers remain in top condition. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general maintenance, cleaning, stocking, and customer service support.
• Operate various tools and equipment to conduct facility maintenance and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on essential systems, including HVAC units, fuel systems, refrigeration equipment, service trucks, and plumbing.
• Conduct pressure washing, site inspections, and other facility upkeep tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor issues before they become major repairs, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience in facility maintenance, equipment repair, or related fields preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
